Lucius Woods Park is located in a beautiful 40-acre sanctuary named in honor of Nicholas and Emma Lucius who preserved the land and the environment during the early 1900s.  The park is located in the Village of Solon Springs, Wisconsin on the shores of Lake St. Croix.  It offers a beautiful swimming beach, playgrounds, nature trails, camping facilities, picnicking areas with grills, and the Lucius Woods Amphitheater.  For more information about the park, call 715-378-2219.
Driving Instructions

Take US Highway 53 to business Highway 53,  approx. 40 minutes south of Duluth/Superior. Our entrance is directly across from the Dairy Queen in the heart of Solon Springs. You can park in downtown Solon Springs - a shuttle bus is available to take you to and from the park.
The outdoor amphitheater made from red pine and tamarack has excellent acoustics and presents summer concerts throughout June July and August.
The Solon Springs Lions Club operates the concession stand during the summer concerts. The menu includes Brats, hot dogs, snacks including freshly made popcorn, ice cream treats, beer, wine, soft drinks and bottled water. You are also welcome to bring a picnic basket.
Overlooking Upper St. Croix Lake, is a beautiful log pavilion with a huge stone fireplace. This pavilion can be rented for parties, wedding , and other group activities. There is a handicap accessible, open-air bateau shelter complete with grills and picnic tables, which can be used at no charge, and other numerous picnic areas with tables and grills located throughout the park.
Near the pavilion is an open-air performing arts amphitheater that is the summer home of
Bring your lawn chair to the concerts.  All seating is on the lawn.  Chairs are available only for the elderly and people with special needs.
